We are very proud of our Midgets, both Football and Cheer for an amazing season. Midgets finish with the football team as Superbowl Champions and the Cheer Squad as Central Mass Champions! Great job players, cheer leaders and coaches!

It was a long battle, and almost 1/2 of the squad has had the flu for the past 2 weeks. Practices have been short, and the girls fought through the pain and fatigue! Somehow, to every-one’s amazement they fought back and arrived at regional qualifiers with a full team yesterday, and what a team it was! They did an amazing job and made us all proud! This squad has shown what Champions look like. They never gave up, they had 100% heart and soul, and they fought to the deliver a routine that was in true Chargers spirit! Way to go girls!!!!!!! We are all proud of you!

Your Oakmont Pee Wee Cheer squad put on a stellar Performance yesterday at the regional qualifiers, but just missed placing and getting a trophy! We are all proud of the effort they put in! The routine was great and I will be posting it on our facebook site later for the fans to see! Way to go Pee Wee Cheer!
The Oakmont Midget Football team waged a battle against Shrewsbury yesterday that ended in a 19-0 loss. This brought the Midgets a second place, and well respected finish in the tournament, and ended their National playoff Bid.

What does this mean for your Oakmont Chargers Midget team? Well although their National Playoff bid is over they are still going strong for the State Championships! We are on a quest for the Super Bowl. State Championship games are being hosted by Oakmont Pop Warner this year which would mean we have home field advantage ( when we achieve our Super Bowl Spot!). So here we go Midgets!!!!!!! We are all so proud of you! Time to take us to the SUPERBOWL!

Your Oakmont Chargers played an amazing game against Grafton tonight in round one of the playoffs and came home with the WIN! The next game is Saturday in Auburn, Ma…details to follow!!! Way to go Chargers Midget Football!
The Oakmont Midget Football players faced off against Winchendon today in a game that ended the season with a win, and takes the football team into the playoffs. Oakmont played a solid game, that at times had the fans in awe! The 22-0 score hardly reflects the effort put in by our team. Blocked punts, sacked quarterbacks, and amazing hits made this game a thrill to watch! The Midget Football team takes their first place season into the playoffs this Tuesday against Grafton. We will all be there to support you!
Are you excited? Well, we are! After a long winter season that included a devastating ice storm that crippled our area, we finally have something great to celebrate and look forward to… The Oakmont Chargers start their season this week!!!!!!!!!!! Last week at the kickoff jamboree in Winchendon, all of our boys showed amazing stamina and there were some break out plays! The Oakmont Cheerleaders were loud, fierce and proud setting the pace for a great season. See you all on Sunday!
